Anthony Abruzzo

Hello, My name is Anthony. I have extensive experience working with children, teens, adults, and couples. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, trauma-focused care, and Jungian principles. Each treatment is personalized, rooted in empathy, and guided by active listening.

In our sessions, you’ll find a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to express yourself freely. Together, we’ll work toward meaningful insights and actionable steps that fit your goals, focusing not just on where you are now but on where you want to be. My role is to provide constructive guidance, advocacy when needed, and honest critique when asked, to navigate life’s challenges—big or small.

My background also includes a Master of Arts in Political Science, allowing me to understand my patients both individually and within larger social and environmental contexts. Whether it’s addressing criminal justice reform, fighting police brutality, advocating against anti-LGBTQ legislation, or understanding broader social landscapes, I aim to incorporate these larger issues into a comprehensive treatment plan.

Life’s challenges are part of the human experience, but you don’t have to, face them alone. You can have support. And I hope to be that support and  look forward to working together soon.
